SVE Thinners
SVE Thinners are carefully prepared from pure high grade solvents to ensure compatibility of the wide range of available refinishing products. Paint thinners are solvents that can dissolve paint and reduce viscosity of paint or “thin” it for use in sprayer applicators or when simply needing a thinner mixture to work with.

How To Thin Paints
Choose an appropriate thinner
Choose type of thinner that is appropriate for the type of paint that you are using and for the method of application. if you are spraying paint onto a surface, you will need a thinner mixture of paint. Paint thinners for latex paints are not appropriate for oil-based paints and vice versa. Always read the instructions given on the label.
Use the right amount of thinner
Use small amount of thinner at a time. Check the label of the paint container recommended, to paint thinner ratio. It is always recommended that the ratio of paint should be higher than that of paint thinner. And if this is not done then the paint may become too thin and lighter in colour than what is desired. Before beginning with any process, just keep in mind that each paint has its own traits, so remember to go through the label given at the back of containers. Cold paint will always appear thicker than it is, which can be deceiving. Add thinner to paint that is at room temperature so that you don’t make the mistake of using too much thinner.
Testing the mix
After mixing the two apply it on the desired surface and step back to wait for the results. Ensure that the paint is completely covering the surface and you should not be able to see any surface underneath. If the paint is not thin enough, add small amounts of thinner to the mixture and reapply to test.
Types of Thinners
T-10 is a PU thinner & basically used for thinning of large variety of paints base on Polyurethane and it also acts as a cleaning agent. It is recommended to be used in SVE PU based wood finish & SVE PU Automobile paint.
T-11 is a NC thinners & basically used for thinning paints based on Nitrocellulose. It is recommended to be used are used for thinning of SVE NC based wood finish & SVE NC based Automobile paint.
T-12 is FD (Fast Drying) thinners used for thinning components of SVE Automobile paint
T 13 is a thinner used for thinning enamel paint which provides the consistency, fine textured flow of fluid and protects the paint from getting spoiled.
T 14 is a Melamine Thinners used for Melamine based paints thus making usage smooth and correctly without any errors.
T-16 is a high purity solvent blend designed for use with all acrylic based conformal coatings. The primary use of T-16 is to dilute coatings for use in dip & spray coating application .
T18 is a General Purpose Thinners are mixtures of various solvents. It quickly reduces the consistency of lacquers to required degree. It improves the film smoothness thus giving out an excellent finish to the product.
T-19 is a 2K thinner & basically used for thinning of large variety of PU paints for exterior application. It is recommended to be used SVE PU Automobile paint.
T 15 can be used for levelling for epoxy primer & topcoat paints to improve spray characteristics & film appearances.

- Wear appropriate safety clothing while working with thinners like gloves, mask Safety glasses, respirators head gears for your own protection as solvents are harmful for your skin, lungs and other organic tissues if comes directly in contact.
While using them you must protect yourself from absorbing or inhalation of fumes or any other harmful gasses. It can result in nausea, headache, tiredness, unconsciousness. It can irritate the lungs nose and throat. - Working with thinners should be done in a ventilated space, if working inside then keep the doors and windows open.
- Solvents are highly inflammable, keep them away from anything that can cause a spark or any other source of heat away from containers.
